# Forseti — Terms of Use **Effective date:** May 22, 2026 **Publisher:** Asvaettir Labs **Contact:** asvaettirlabs.dev@gmail.com These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and **Asvaettir Labs** (including its developer and affiliates, “we,” “us,” or “Asvaettir”) governing your use of the Forseti Android application (“Forseti” or the “App”). By installing, opening, or using Forseti, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. --- ## 1. Not legal advice Forseti provides **information and organizational tools only**. It does **not** provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. Use of Forseti does **not** create an attorney–client relationship with Asvaettir Labs or any person. You must consult a **licensed attorney** in your jurisdiction for advice about your case. --- ## 2. English rules control; translations are not certified **Authoritative sources are in English.** Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, bundled federal forms, official court-rule PDFs, and similar materials in the App remain in **English** and control over any summary or translation. **UI translations** (including Spanish or Simplified Chinese menus, guides, glossary, or help text) are provided for **convenience only**. They are **not** prepared by certified legal translators unless we expressly state otherwise. They may be incomplete, outdated, or **incorrect**. **Your duty:** Before you file, rely on, or act on any procedural step, you must verify all information against **official English** court rules, standing orders, local rules, and forms for your court. You bear **sole responsibility** for any error arising from mistranslation or misunderstanding. --- ## 3. Your sole responsibility You alone are responsible for: - All filings, motions, deadlines, and submissions - Compliance with court and local rules - Accuracy and completeness of documents you create or store - Decisions to act or not act based on App content Forseti does not file documents for you and does not guarantee any outcome. --- ## 4. No warranties Forseti is provided **“as is”** and **“as available,”** without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. --- ## 5. Limitation of liability To the **maximum extent permitted by applicable law**, Asvaettir Labs, its developer, owners, and affiliates will **not** be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or legal opportunity, arising from or related to: - Use or inability to use Forseti - Errors, omissions, or delays in content - **Translation or localization errors** - Missed deadlines or calendar mistakes - Third-party websites or services linked from the App - On-device OCR or document handling Our **total liability** for any claim relating to Forseti will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) **USD $50**, except where law does not allow such a limit. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law. --- ## 6. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Asvaettir Labs and its developer from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of Forseti, your filings, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or court order. --- ## 7. Purchases Optional purchases and trials are processed by **Google Play**. Payment terms and refunds follow Google’s policies. We do not store your payment credentials. --- ## 8. Privacy Our [Privacy Policy](privacy-policy.md) describes data practices. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference. --- ## 9. Changes We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date at the top. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. --- ## 10. Governing law; disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of the **State of Delaware, United States**, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise. **You may also have rights under local consumer law that cannot be waived by contract.** --- ## 11. Severability If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. --- ## 12. Entire agreement These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and in-app acknowledgments you accept, are the entire agreement between you and Asvaettir Labs regarding Forseti. --- **Summary (not a substitute for the Terms above):** Forseti is a tool, not a lawyer. English rules control. Translations may be wrong. You are responsible for your case.
